报告人简介:

Costel Marian Petrache,巴黎萨克雷大学终身教授,博士生导师,国际著名实验核物理学家。1992年博士毕业于意大利INFN国家实验室,曾先后在法国斯特拉斯堡核物理研究中心、意大利INFN国家实验室、意大利卡梅里诺大学等任职,2006年起任职于巴黎萨克雷大学。研究领域主要包括原子核手征对称性、极端条件下的原子核结构、奇特转动等。作为发言人,领导合作组在法国GANIL、意大利INFN、芬兰Jyväskylä、南非iThemba等国际一流实验室开展实验,取得了丰硕的成果。在核探测器,特别是中子探测器、反冲质量谱仪、分段半导体检测器等实验设备研究中也做出重要贡献。在Physical Review Letter、Physical Review C、Physics Letter B等期刊发表论文300余篇,引用次数超过7000次。


报告内容:

Recent experimental studies of proton-rich nuclei just above the Z = 50 magic shell performed with state-of-the-art detectors setups developed for the observation of very weakly populated states will be presented. Evidence of new isomeric states with short and long lifetimes, of magnetic rotation bands and of unique states essential for establishing the nature of the collective motion in nuclei, have been identified. Different modes of manifestation of the prolate-oblate shape coexistence will be presented. Shape coexistence in mid-shell tin nuclei studied with fast timing techniques and the observation of discrete states above the neutron emission threshold in germanium nuclei in beta-decay measurements will also be presented. The evolution of collectivity with increasing spin, as well as along the isotopic chains of iodine and cesium nuclei will be discussed.
