报告人简介：
杨文力，西北大学物理学院教授、博士生导师。1990年本科毕业于西安交通大学，1996年于西北大学获得博士学位，曾在德国波恩大学、日本京都大学、澳大利亚昆士兰大学等访问工作。主要从事经典和量子场论、可积系统及相关对称代数等数学物理领域的研究。2009年入选首届陕西省“百人计划”，2014年获得国家杰出青年基金资助。其成果曾获教育部自然科学二等奖、陕西省科学技术一等奖。
报告内容：
Basing on the off-diagonal Bethe ansatz method, we investigate the structure of roots of the transfer matrix of the Heisenberg spin chain at a special state. The resulting root patterns allow us to calculate the spectrum of the system with various boundary conditions in the thermodynamic limit. The method used here can be generalized to study the thermodynamic properties and boundary energy of other high rank models with non-diagonal boundary fields.
