报告人简介：
伍晓磊，2014年5月获美国纽约州立大学宾汉姆顿分校数学专业博士学位，师从著名拓扑学家F. Thomas Farrell.曾在德国柏林自由大学，马克斯普朗克研究所、波恩大学、比勒菲尔德大学从事博士后研究。2021年11月至今，在复旦大学上海数学中心任青年研究员。伍晓磊的研究领域主要集中在几何群论，流形拓扑和代数K-理论。已在Mathematische Annalen，Journal of Topology，Trans. Amer. Math. Soc.等期刊发表论文多篇。
报告内容：
In this talk, we will discuss some questions related to free-by-cyclic groups and tubular groups, both old ones and new ones. In particular, we will talk about CAT(0)ness of free-by-cyclic groups and its connection to virtually specialness and RFRS. Then I will talk about how to answer some of them. This is based on a joint work with Shengkui Ye.
